Consultation has concluded

This project has concluded. Thank you to all who submitted safety concerns and feedback.

What transportation safety concerns do you have in Ridgefield?

The City is currently creating a Transportation Safety Plan funded through a grant obtained by the Regional Transportation Council. The Safety Plan will identify hazards throughout the City and generate a prioritized list of projects to address the hazards. After the Safety Plan is complete it will be used to apply for grant money to fund these projects and make our streets safer.

The City is looking for input from citizens to assist in identifying areas with existing transportation related safety concerns. Examples might include unsafe pedestrian crossings, intersections with poor sight distance or lighting, or locations where fixed objects (fences, signs, telephone poles) have been hit on more than one occasion.

We invite you to use the map tool below to submit your concerns! Deadline: Submit by end of day Thursday, June 24.
