The City has installed a Fieldhouse at the Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex (RORC). The new structure covers the existing batting cages adjacent to Fields 4 and 5 and adds an Umpire Changing Room/Office.

This project is funded by a Washington State Legislature Capital Budget Grant and is being completed in coordination with the Ridgefield School District and Ridgefield Raptors.

The addition of a metal building around the batting cages allow them to be used year-round. Additionally, an Umpire Office and Storage Room has been added to the end of the existing batting cages. The structure includes power for lights and outlets as well as ventilation.

Construction has been completed and public access to the work zone (playground and trail) is restored. Work is underway to finalize the improvements and prepare the Fieldhouse to open to the public.
